Help Us Expand Medical Cannabis Access for Female Orgasmic Disorder and other women's health conditions

Connecticut first approved female orgasmic disorder/difficulty as a qualifying condition for medical cannabis in June 2024, followed by Illinois in January 2025, which approved endometriosis, female orgasmic disorder, ovarian cysts, and uterine fibroids.

The Women’s Cannabis Project is advancing women’s health cannabis legislation modeled after Illinois to recognize these four conditions and expand access to medical cannabis for women’s health, sexual function, and quality of life. Our movement now includes representatives in 14 states and several countries, with legislative and advocacy efforts moving forward in states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, and Oregon.

We welcome advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers, and organizations to join us in advancing women’s health cannabis policy.
